Approved Land Use Plan for 200 Acre Subdivision has Surfaced

Many Farm Road property owners have claimed that large-scale development plans exist for their area, however, the Planning Agency staff has no record of them.

However, on January 22, 2008, it was discovered that the Planning Agency staff had recommended the approval of an approximately 200 acre neighboring property for subdivision. The property is located in Sandy Spring, however, the document refering to it was prepared for the neighboring city of Olney.

PDF Page 11 of the linked document, document page numbered 25, describes the proposed project.
